The Movie Pack - 300, Spiderman 3 and Casino Royale on Blu-ray Disc. Released 19th March.

Who says that we won't be getting blu-ray deals after the format war? Looks like a pretty good deal to me!

 

The GT5 Pack - Includes Gran Turismo 5: Prologue on Blu-Ray Disc. Released 29th March.

 

No mentioned as to where exactly they will be released, and it was taken from a french site, so it may not be released in the UK for all I know. But two very, very good bundles that can only increase sales, in my opinion.

Also, this could indicate that PAL regions may not be getting any other SKU. Makes me think sony are working on full software emulation for PS2 BC.

1st one is a better deal than the second one, but both are pretty good.

i like the movie pack. it shows that sony are STILL doing blu-ray promotions, even after blu-ray winning the format war.

well, if they're buying it for the movies, it doesn't matter, does it? clearly sony are pushing the ps3 as a blu-ray player as well as a games console with both of these bundles. i'm guessing that they are aiming at two markets with this console. only time will tell if that it's a good idea. i personally think it is.

Most people who would be interested in Blu-Ray at this point in time would be interested in picking up a few video games, like Pro Evo Soccer, or really big titles like MGS4, FFXIII, etc. Consider them the casuals of the PS3.

what a stupid pack....3 good movies (I have all on dvd)

and a game that's not finished...

i'm not buying a ps3 until the dual shock 3 comes out anyway otherwise i have to spend another 100 euros for 2 new controllers.
and please bring back the BC

your first sentence made no sense at all. if they are three good movies, how is it stupid? and not everybody owns the same dvd collection as you.

and they have been doing gt prologues/concepts since gt3, why is it a problem now all of a sudden?

because there never has been a pack with a gt prologue/concept,.. only with the real deal
and if you're a person who loves movies so much that you want to spend money on a blu ray disc... you probably have at least one of the 3 already
