So, as should be obvious, the forum rules basically still apply here, but this is also a smaller and tighter community, and I don't expect much enforcement will be needed. People here should be familiar with each other since viewing these forums requires 750 posts, and this will be a place for ioi to test out new additions to the site and get opinions from experienced members.
So, with these things in mind, a few things I would like to stress:
NO PORN - By that we mean no pictures posted, no links, no extremely graphic description, and no degrading talk.
NO BASHING OF NON-MEMBERS - This area is not for you talk bad about people behind there back.
NO SPAMMING - don't use this area to solely up your post count.
NO LIST WARZ - This is a place for fans of all consoles to relax, and list wars are the opposite of relaxing. They are annoying and childish. So please keep fanboy arguments out of Section 8. Feel free to discuss what you are playing though.
Don't start threads about this on the main forum.
We are all seasoned veterans of the site, so let's just treat each other with respect. I seriously doubt there will be any real problems, but obviously don't insult people and try to keep the discussion here fun and civil. There is no off-topic for these forums, but at the same time if someone does make a thread asking for serious debate, it's understood that they want serious opinions.
Inviting: I'd like to leave this up to Kenzomatic, as the steward of both previous Section 8s, he would know who would be good to have around. Past that, I'd rather have no one else told of it. If you want someone in post in Kenzo's invite topic and he'll approve them if he agrees.
Other than that, have fun. Think of this as the VGC lounge. It's a loose place for smart and dedicated members to come and talk things out without any of the usual forum arguments. If I'm not arround please defer to Kenzo for any questions.
