I don't know who here has heard, but a bunch of firms banded together and got around to suing TPB on very obvious charges. So far, I dare say, the Prosecution is more or less defeating themselves with some of the things they have been trying to pull. However they seem to be getting their things together, here's a quick summary of each day, I will update it as it happens.

I'm neutral about it, I won't bash and judge nor praise it. Nowadays I download just about every game before I buy it as a sort of protection. I only go and buy it if I actually either finish it, or if it;s multiplayer, play it for more than a week. There have been a few games like that recently, and a bunch which haven't been. Lesson to developers to not suck.

I don't usually buy PC games. Sometimes I even need to Torrent games I used to own, because I lose them.

I'm now downloading word 2007. I think MS can get around losing that 30 euro or something I'm not spending now. Plus, I could work on 2003 is anything but can't open some schooldocuments.

Anyway, I'm with Vlad. I buy anything I know is worth my money. If I'm on the fence that usually means I don't buy it anyway (money is tight.) In that case I don't think an illegal download equals a lost sale.

Honestly, I'm really annoyed with some of the crap the prosecution is pulling, and hopefully the fact that the defendants aren't pulling the same BS will help them out. This is bound to be an interesting decision, and the effects that follow from it.
