    @Kresnik Sure, maybe that helped but...Ridge Racer may not have had the greatest graphics (but it had 60fps which I always prefer over the most technical visuals) or the most deep gameplay. But it had style and fun factor, which to me, made it the best racing game franchise of all-time.

    Funny, as soon as this game sells well in Europe it falls in sales in Japan and the US. Lol. This would have been a mega hit if it did over 500K in Japan and US like with R4.

    Ridge Racer 6 was, either not released in Europe, or its sales numbers are MIA.

    It's due to the association with Playstation brand that this sold so well. It's a decent, polished racer, but nothing too special.
