Though little is yet known about the recently announced Fable 3, it is known that Peter Molyneux's next epic will again take place primarily in the land of Albion. In this new adventure, players will witness tyranny, poverty and injustice plague their land. They will see a people divided, and they will be compelled to stand up for change.
Set some years after the events of Fable 2, the character will take on the role of the child of the Hero of Bowerstone. The game will loosely be divided into two episodes, the first being the race to capture the Crown of Albion, the second being ruling Albion. As such, there will be much more far-reaching consequences for the game world as a result of the characters decisions than in past games.
Whilst limited information is currently available, it appears likely based off Peter Molyneux's comments and hints in Fable 2's DLC "See The Future" that the player will explore a region other than Albion, possibly named Aurora. There has also been suggestion that game saves from Fable 2 could have an effect on Fable 3, meaning your old hero's life could effect their son/daughter's life.
Other announced and speculated features of Fable 3 include the advent of the beginning of an industrial age for Albion, in particular Bowerstone, possible support for Microsoft's NATAL, and the likely reappearence of Theresa (she provides the voice over for the first teaser trailer).

I admit that Fable III was not as good as Fable II was. But it wasnt as bad as people like Angry Joe made it out to be. It did offer a improved humor and a better story. The overpowered guns was the biggest problem here, my suggestion for Fable IV is that they keep guns, but have them do not as much damage as melee weapons. Also, having the option to put a bullet in Reaver's head would be nice. Message | Report |

Fable was my favorite Xbox franchise until this came out. Now with Fable the Journey and that crappy XBLA game , this series is pretty much dead to me. Message | Report |

Yeah, popularity does not mean that something is good. Go look at Twilight or Michael Bay movies or Honey Boo Boo or something. If Fable III is great, then I'm Santa Claus. The game was absolutely mediocre in every aspect... especially when you hold it up to what the original did. It is unfathomable to me that PM had so many ideas that served to make the game worse, slower, and even further devoid of interesting choice, and that the lack of playtesting was so apparent. This series is one of the biggest gaming disappointments I've ever experienced, right up there with Dragon Age II. Message | Report |

matrix01: Yeah, your so right. I bought my PS3 with Motorstorm 1 and Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. I sold Motorstorm the next day because I didn't care about the game at all. JustThatGamer: Sony bundles almost every exclusive worth mentioning and even bigger third party titles. They are quite limited. I rarely see them in my country and the bundled game still cost the same. About Fable: I never had a chance to try out the series because I never owned a 360. It looks fun but way too cartoony. I couldn't really take it seriously after playing The Witcher. Is it worth trying on PC? Message | Report |
