Personally, I don't think VC will be discontinued, because I think Sony needs to have good exclusive games on the PS3, so I think it will be platinum'ed before it gets discontinued. Plus, platinum'ing VC would only strengthen Sony's relationship to SEGA. Message | Report |

Amazing game! I especially love the skirmishes. It's not like in some Fire Emblem/FF Tactics games where you can only level up certain characters during missions. There's a lot of ways to complete this game in that regard (play only the missions, or overpower yourself in skirmishes, etc.). Oh, by the way, Vyse and Aika FTW! ^^ Message | Report |

@Montana The story is somewhat vapid at the very begining, but once you're past chapter 5 it takes off. The Gameplay however becomes gradually more intense and soon you're fighting some very epic and long battles. This is a great game. Sadly, it's sales are the same as Eternal Sonata's and Tales of Vesperia. The only thing these three titles have in common are the cell shaded graphics. Even though the graphics in all 3 games are very good, and look great on an HDTV...it seems most gamers are rejecting this art style in this generation of games (well on the 360 and ps3 anyways). It's sad too, cause all 3 games have good stories, and are fun to play. Message | Report |

Man, even though I have this for PS3 I sort of wish it was multiplatform now so they could sell more copies. For me this game comes only second to Fallout 3 for best RPG of the year and its definitely one of my favorite games even compared to the PS2 era in its prime. Here in Sweden we don't get the games translated or dubbed to Swedish, except when it comes to games for children and casual games (and then, not all games anyway, especially not Nintendo's). Are we complaning about that? Hell no. So stop complaning and learn to deal with the english language instead. If it wasn't for the fact that alsmost all games in Europe must be translated to german, spanish, italian, french and so on we would get the games much, much faster. Espeically roleplaying games. Ps. It's an okay game .. but not as good as some people try to make it look. - The story is terrible and cliched all around. - RPG system is pretty much non-existant, you dont chose any skills or stats, instead you level your units up in a linear way. - maps are pretty small and characters lack the ability to climb/crouch/lay down(only in the grass)/take cover using walls or anything. And so there is not much place for some tactic. - skirmishes are the same maps you play in the story mode, there is little challenge in the game, it is pretty simple and you always know what to do since maps are so small and linear. - art design is interesting but graphics are meh. Physics engine doesnt work properly. I dont regret buying the game, but I would had not if not all the hype around it. Message | Report |

If you save/reload all the time it can last up to ~60 hours. No replay value. This game has a somewhat idiotic storyline, awful mechanics & physics and a strong tendency to ignore its own odds system. It's not a surprise that sales numbers are going down everywhere. Valkyria has been rated best jRPG so far this generation on gamerankings and metacritic ^^ A great start for the PS3's exclusive jRPG list. this is a Tactical RPG. You cant compare this to a Infinite Undiscovery, or tales of vesperia. There's a big difference in popularity between these two genres. Especially in the EU and US. Valkyria is selling well for a niche game, without any marketing campaign behind it. It'll get 300k sales for sure and hopefully 500k on the long run. Message | Report |

Sad really, they reward us for supporting the franchise by taking it away to the PSP to make cheaper more Japanese orientated games. At least release it digitally and add tropies! Message | Report |
