Crazy 8: Secret special attack
While playing as Crazy 8, select your special weapon and press Down(3), Up(3). A purple shield will appear instead of a silver one. To fire the purple shock you must be close to somebody, and then press L2.

Great game, check out Twisted Metal: Heads On Extra Twisted edition on the PS2 for levels that were meant for Black 2.
