If this game was X-Rated, best game title ever!

I've just finished the game, very sweet, the story is maybe a bit weird but I love the characters and atmosphere.

That kind of games is just perfect for the DS imo. Exactly what I'm looking for with a handeld.

It's tracking better than the previous one in both America and Others actually. If legs can hold it up, it may well sell even better than the first one did!

Just finished it, and it's every bit as great as the first one. Can't wait for them to bring #3 over here.

You can probably beat both in 10 hours if you are really good at puzzles. I just finished off the main story on this one in 13 hours, but I still have the bonus rooms and about 9 puzzles I missed in the game. Also, tack on the 30+ weekly download puzzles. Mind you, I did waste a lot of time on some puzzles that I didn't solve (the 80+ picarats ones are really tough)

Both games are really worth the money.

how long is this game? and how long is curious village?

nordlead posted 08/09/2009, 07:08
I agree that Curious Village is better, but this is still a great game. If you want the more charming game, get Curious Village. If you want the game with the darker storyline, get Diabolical Box.

Just beat it. Not as good Curious Village in my opinion (the story was weaker), but it's a really great game. No doubt about it.

Now bring on the Final Time-Travel!

Layton Get. This definitely has much better presentation. More cut scenes and more voicework with moving mouths during non FMV scenes.

Sales are crazy for Curious Village in Others, why haven't they announced a date outside Japan? Do they not want our money?

You need to your brains to play this game indeed, but it AIN'T a brain training game!! Its a point & click adventure / puzzle game with over 130 different types of puzzles. To get through the game and continuing the story you'll need to solve a certain amount of puzzles. Hint coins are hidden across the entire world to help you out just when you're totally stuck with a puzzle. I've got both versions.... and they're great!

I think it is a mystery game, I think it may be kinda like Pheonix Wright meets the Hardy Boys...

Oyvoyvoyv posted 13/12/2007, 08:34
I believe it is some kind of brain training game.

Pandora's box is an impossible excercise, so you probably have to puzzle your way into the final puzzle - Pandora's box.
