this is the best selling version of GH:WT, but pales in comparison to the sales of GHIII - the series is getting too many games too quickly and if Activision doesn't slow up they're gonna ruin it. Message | Report |

@naruto3336: I believe that mario and sonic was created solely by sega. Of course nintendo had some say in their development, since their characters are involved, but the development was all sega. I would consider this game a third party game. Message | Report |

This game does have DLC. In fact, it has an extra mode which the other versions don't have. If anything, the HD versions are gimped and this is the ultimate version. Message | Report |

Ya know eden, PS3 and 360 also get DLC, Wii version does not. Late & Gimped (AGAIN), thats what Activision does to the #1 selling system that is #1 seller of the series. Step backwards anyone? This has sold quite alot very quickly. Don't think it can surpas sales of GH3 though since that game is still selling well and a new version would come out before World Tour can get anywhere as close to as high as GH3. Message | Report |

Complete band kits just started to get easier to find. The local mall Gamestop had about 3 or 4 in stock yesterday, but had more of the 360 versions in stock. I didn't know this was doing so much better then that one, and the legs are stronger too. Good job Activision for packing in all of the features plus more. Message | Report |

Rockband 2 should not hurt the sales of this game, because this game also has the Guitar only SKU, which RB2 does not, many people dont want to spend 189.99 on a game. Also I see that the games is now 79.99 in most place (that is why I went ahead and bought it) Pretty slick to drop the price as soon as the holidays are over.... Yeah, complete band packs for the Wii are scarce here too. I had to call a couple of stores to find one, and when I did find it, it was the last in stock. But now I'm a Guitar Hero again! World Tour style (again).  Message | Report |

the wii version could end up outselling the HD versions combined when all is said and done... the Wii version will sell well all year, and the HD version will sell well, but not as good. Message | Report |

Great game, but Rock Band 2 is better IMO. If you got the complete band kit I'd also suggest picking up a copy of Rock Band 2 since the instruments are compatible. Message | Report |

yeah i didnt expect the version to take a huge lead early on, but it looks like PS2 owners shifted to the Wii version, plus 360 has rockband 2 which the Wii hasnt got yet Message | Report |

Well about 200k according to NPD in its first month and 450k in the second. So at least 650k in US alone and another 50k considering the rest of Americas. So 700k at the least in NA. So should be platinum by the time American sales come in. I had a feeling we weren't keeping up with this one. Top Wii brands won't falter if the others do haha. Anyone having problems with an over-sensitive Drum Pedal? I can't play with my foot pressed on the pedal because it gives of a false-positive even when not kicking and almost always registers as a double-kick on singles (which leaves me on an eternal 3-star performance due to no combo chances).
