	Mr Puggsly posted 09/05/2013, 10:10 Played this game years ago and hated it. But I decided to give it another try since I liked FC3 so much. Well... this game still kinda sucks. Getting around is a pain in the ass, the map is annoying, I hate you constantly run into people trying to kill you, and the story is hard to follow, voice acting is shit, but its still kind of a decent game. It definitely had the potential to be a much better game with relatively minor changes. Message \| Report

I did it though, but the reason i'd give this an 8 is mainly cause of the amazing map editor for multiplayer. Added a lot of replay value to me. Message \| Report

All their Tom Clancy games usually do between 1 and 2 million. They don't make really blockbuster games but they all sell enough to make them happy I'd guess. Message \| Report

Its so huge and detailed its awesome. lots of missions and stuff to find ,not as complex as gta but great game. quarter million on 360 another 100,000 thousand on ps3 and probably 200,000 on pc minimum between steam and retail. Far Cry 2 is a more open-ended shooter, like STALKER, which has a huge following in Europe. Even the first Far Cry and Crysis ware made by a German company. Americans prefer more linear shooters like Gears or Call of Duty. The first one also had a huge PC following so I wouldn't be surprised if it did better on the PC then most games nowadays, at least in Europe. That said, I think Ubisoft dropped the ball on marketing this game. For American audiences, they should have advertised it as like a FPS GTA clone, casual American console gamers probably don't even remember the first Xbox "Far Cry" . Message \| Report
