The King of Fighters XII (X360) > Opinions (18)

60k is still a good amount considering yeah It released at $60.

Anyways, I got Samuari Shodown Sen and the game has only been out a week but I doubt It's gonna break 10k in It's first month judging from online players and leaderboards, and they released that $50. Though XSeed published it in the US.

They probably figure releasing it at full price and giving it little discount will make up for not selling 150k+ copies in the US since most people buying would be paying close to near full price.

For what its worth the other SNK games recently released on the PS2, PSP, and Wii didn't sell much better. And they were released for about $15 - $30.

This game could see a big boost when its $20. I wasn't crazy about it but I'm sure it can evolve into something better down the road.

I'm honestly shocked it hasn't dropped in price yet. It's selling under 1k a week now and the holidays probably won't help that much.

If I'm playing a person in the US and It's 1v1 there is very little to no lag.

It's when someone joins the match, the person added to the lobby makes the lag unbearable.

Playing against people from Japan brings back CVS2 lag from the original XBox which is scary.

KoF XII is an excellent 2D fighting game, good gameplay, very fun but the poor offline mode and the lag during online fights are unacceptable ! come on ! a patch is needed, hurry up !

No Mai Shiranui = 1 less sale... Unless there's downloadable content in the future.

The pixels aren't bad when the camera is zoomed out. Poor decision by SNK to have it zoom in all the time.

Online is hopefully fixed over time but im not counting on it.

Characters thru DLC but will still be lower then 30 for sure.

Glad I bought Blazblue over this. After reading what DanBal76 had to say and after all the reviews I have read. I still want to play it but I will rent it instead. Blazblue is miles ahead in the features department.

Huge disappointment. Only 22 characters (ridiculous for a KOF title), stripped down characters, missing some classic characters, pixelated characters (c'mon SNK Playmore, the year is 2009, and this game was developed on the Taito Type X2 board, a highly capable one), only five stages, only one offline mode, online performance issues. You get the feeling that you are not playing a finished product. The ultimate 2D fighting game huh SNK Playmore? What a joke. What have you done to the beloved KOF series. A shame.

The people at shoryuken that It's a great game and for fighting games thats the real opinion for me. It's KOF still. If you don't like KOF then It's not worth it. Try out the demo of KOF 98 UM and you'll get a general idea.

It's not letting me add this to my collection? Well i got the game on 7/25. Some Gamestops in the US got it on 7/24. Great game though a bit bare bones in the single player department (No Real Story, No Boss. Just time trial versus five teams). Everything else is good.

Well you have to figure in that SNK Playmore ACTUALLY change the graphics! We aren't talking Max Impact 3d, we are talking totally re-drawn hand drawn 2d sprites and what not in HD.

I'd say the WORST part about this game is 20 characters. Thats rather small compared to say KOF 98 UM which has 45.

I'm really looking forward to playing this, but I'm not paying $60 for a fighter. Perhaps I will rent it.
