	mongolianbob posted 29/12/2012, 07:00 I have played ME from the begining and I say this game had a controversy that it didn't deserve and the love that bioware had for its fans to even go back and change the ending because of their petulance is astounding. Now I wasn't completely set with the orginal ending it left too many questions unanwsered but the new ending is great or the extended cut. The game is a masterpiece of narrative from start to finish and the improvements with combat that came with ME 2 and some the rpg elements (I would have liked to have seen more) from ME 1 makes this game in terms of gameplay the best in the series as well as an astounding conclusion to the best video game series of this generation (my personal favorite of all time) not to mention the multiplayer with free add-ons and updates and you have the Overall Game of the year if it wasn't for Journey coming out the same year as this oh well its still awesome. 10/10. But that only represents 3% growth on ME2 and 13% growth on ME. I think for significant franchise growth you's want to see at least 15-20% growth with each game in a series. E.g. Uncharted 2 vs Uncharted DF saw 33% growth. That was significant. Uncharted 3 won't see significant growth, indeed it might sell less than UC2. Message \| Report

I would have hoped for something more like Uncharted growth from game 1 to game 2 at least. Mass Effect 2.6 million should have translated to >3 million for ME2. Perhaps the fact that ME2 is best when ME has been played prior (i.e. carried over decisions) tends to limit the potential for significant growth with each subsequent game. Message \| Report

Eventually there will be a substantial price cut in5-6 months, add to that it's a great game... 93 meta score and foremost contender for GOTY so far all of which should easily help it cross the 3 mil mark. This game is a common trade in because it only has moderate replay value (compared to say MKWii, SSBB, Skyrim) so the amount of people who played the games is very much higher than sales, also not to mention someone who borrowed a copy before, but not has to buy it themselves Message \| Report

	WiiBox3 posted 26/03/2012, 10:09 I'm about to start the last mission. So far it is an awesome game. Even if the end sucks I'll be happy I have enjoyed this ride. The multi player is very good. Also the From Ashes DLC is so good it should have been in the game. The character that you get with that DLC is one of the best in the game and is integrated so well. I don't want to spoil it, but if you have the DLC, make sure to include that character in your party on every major mission. Message \| Report

	karategirlkat09 posted 22/03/2012, 02:15 this game definetly is my favorite game so far. the graphics are amazing. there really should be a fourth one with kaidan please!!!!! i just watched the part where they say good bye and i was crying. i think i've played this game so much i've fallen in love with him!!!!! the only thing i didn't like about this game was that the camera kept watching mirandas butt the whole time... it was all gross and saggy n stuff...and kudos on the graphics of kaidans face after that robot thing kicked his butt. i just don't understand how his face was all bruised up when the robot just picked him up by his neck.....please please make another with kaidan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They said the best of ME1 and 2... all they seemed to bring back from ME1 was the music and the ability to explore the citadel. Buying and Selling were not options. No upgrading different types of armor like in ME1. And really, there was no other place to even explore other than the citadel this time. Kind of sad. Graphics were good though and very smooth, although I did notice glitches in gameplay. More in one playthru than in my 14 or so ME1/2 playthrus combined. Ending did suck (left too much to wonder aka lazy writing). I wish they had taken the time they spent on multiplayer and focused that towards the single player, because the multiplayer is pretty damn fun. Probably more fun than any multiplayer I've played. And I think that's the problem. Mass Effect is an RPG... but in ME3... its just a shooter with a few RPG elements. Far fewer face to face convos, its just pressing the A button and listening to what they say. I'll wait to rate it amazing until I see some DLC that either has new endings... or something. It is more impressive technically than ME1 and 2, but the cliche female "assets" upgrades and the horrible ending and somewhat awkward dialogue with female squadmates I did not choose as my characters love interest.... I don't know, I guess this game just isn't nearly as polished as it's predecessors. Mostly though it's the ending. I mean it's the end of the trilogy, answer some goddamn questions instead of raising more! Message \| Report

This game is a common trade in because it only has moderate replay value (compared to say MKWii, SSBB, Skyrim) so the amount of people who played the games is very much higher than sales, also not to mention someone who borrowed a copy before, but not has to buy it themselves Message \| Report

	WiiBox3 posted 26/03/2012, 10:09 I'm about to start the last mission. So far it is an awesome game. Even if the end sucks I'll be happy I have enjoyed this ride. The multi player is very good. Also the From Ashes DLC is so good it should have been in the game. The character that you get with that DLC is one of the best in the game and is integrated so well. I don't want to spoil it, but if you have the DLC, make sure to include that character in your party on every major mission. Message \| Report

They said the best of ME1 and 2... all they seemed to bring back from ME1 was the music and the ability to explore the citadel. Buying and Selling were not options. No upgrading different types of armor like in ME1. And really, there was no other place to even explore other than the citadel this time. Kind of sad. Graphics were good though and very smooth, although I did notice glitches in gameplay. More in one playthru than in my 14 or so ME1/2 playthrus combined. Ending did suck (left too much to wonder aka lazy writing). I wish they had taken the time they spent on multiplayer and focused that towards the single player, because the multiplayer is pretty damn fun. Probably more fun than any multiplayer I've played. And I think that's the problem. Mass Effect is an RPG... but in ME3... its just a shooter with a few RPG elements. Far fewer face to face convos, its just pressing the A button and listening to what they say. I'll wait to rate it amazing until I see some DLC that either has new endings... or something. It is more impressive technically than ME1 and 2, but the cliche female "assets" upgrades and the horrible ending and somewhat awkward dialogue with female squadmates I did not choose as my characters love interest.... I don't know, I guess this game just isn't nearly as polished as it's predecessors. Mostly though it's the ending. I mean it's the end of the trilogy, answer some goddamn questions instead of raising more! Message \| Report
