@Roar_of_War then your blind if you dont see why. London is in Europe, Olympic Games is best in Europe and Mario and Sonic on Wii. That simple.

Europe is such a sucker for this series. Not that the games are bad, but I don't see why they sell this much.

I don't want this game to sell well, Sega doesn't deserve it.

This is selling comparably to the 2007 game through six weeks...which bodes well for Sega!

The best part: The Olympics aren't close yet. I expect increased sales come this summer.

It took a little while, but this game looks like it'll live up to expectations.

Had an idea this title would start to pick up. Should pass the 1m mark next week with the increasing weekly sales.

@primogen: To be fair, they made a new one every 2 years. So they weren't even milking it that hard. And after the first game's success, who could blame them for trying to repeat it?

this game is pretty good as were the previous ones, but not good enough to warrant yearly itinerations. Online play would help though

I don't know why but I expected this to do better. Maybe there were just too many big games out at once and this slipped under the radar a little. Still, this is an evergreen title and should sell well weekly for months rather than weeks.
