Wow, 590,000 on the 3DS? I'm still confused as to why Generations wasn't released on the Wii as well, then again, I'm still scratching my head as to why Colors didn't make it to the PS3 and 360 as well. Message | Report |

saw it for €35 euros on sale in gamestop and couldn't say no to sonic, gotta say what a great surprise, I finished this on the xbox but kinda hated the whole 2nd half of the game just mainly finished it because I had spent time on it and wanted to see it through but this.... such a great version of the game, the act 2 sonic is actually incredibly fun to use the game has such great set pieces in it which are visually fantastic from the 3ds, gonna admit this is the first sonic game with a ranking system where I've given a rats ass and have now started to go back over the stages to complete the S ranks where I missed them, along with daily bonus's for playing against people online (which works mostly perfectly and seamlessly) and a ton of things to do with play coins in the game from unlockable missions to play or just straight up content unlocks with coins it is just such a nice full package of a sonic game. Definitely can't recommend this enough for any fan of sonic with a 3DS Message | Report |

Just passes the half million mark, gratz sonic might have to add my +1 to this after seeing that its solely a 2d platformer since the 3d stages on the xbox version absolutely killed the game flow. Message | Report |

I got this game 3 days ago and played through the main story mode. In my opinion it is vastly superior to the 360 version of the game (plagued by responsiveness issues and the same terrible 3D version of Sonic gameplay). The package is more consistant and good from beggining to finish. Its only problem is indeed beeing too short. The first acts of the first 3 levels are indeed remakes of the originals, but that makes them so much more sweet and nostalgic to play. If you like classic 2D gameplay Sonic, this one is the way to go. Message | Report |

I was actually expecting something much worse than I played. Yeah it's a short game, but what's there is good fun (I quite enjoyed the replica stages... which proves once again that Classic Sonic > Modern Sonic :P). I recommend it. Message | Report |

Having played the cosole version and given it a 9.8, i have to be honest and say that the portable version is vastly inferior, way too short, i mean green hill zone as classic sonic is an exact replice of the megadrive version, in other words the level is over in 35 seconds, still a good game, but beaten badly by its console counterpart. Got this game for christmas and while I am LOVING the classic sonic levels... the "new" sonic ones just plain suck. I should say everything about them is great but the controls/moves are incredibly frustrating especially when put side by side with clsasic sonic moves. Not a good idea SEGA, should have just given us all classic sonic. Message | Report |

Based on the reviews, this is the worst original handheld Sonic ever made for a Nintendo handheld. Should still sell 50,000 to 75,000 first week in America alone. Message | Report |
