Tabata stated in an interview with Gamespot during Pax West (September 1st) that XV sold "6.5 million worldwide." I don't think he'd tell us outdated numbers if it weren't recent. Message | Report |

If anyone is wondering why the EU sales are so high in comparison to other FF games, it's probably because this is the first time that Square have given the game full German and French voice acting. This obviously helps sales in Germany, France, Belgium, Switzerland, and Austria a lot. Message | Report |

@PAO, Agreed it's a flawed masterpiece if that makes sense, and I honestly think another year on the game and it'd be a 10/10 game IMO. As for other Final Fantasies, assuming you have a PS4 you could by the FFX/X-2 remaster, play through that and then play the XII remaster coming out in Summer, and then I'd suggest emulating FFVII through to IX before finally going onto the pre PS1 FF's Message | Report |

Just beat it. Really great game. Some flaws here or there. But Overall, I had a very enjoyable experience with it and Noctis just became one of my favorite protagonists! Now, since this was my first Final Fantasy game, where do I go from here... Message | Report |

This should do 3+ million worldwide week 1 which would be freaking amazing!!! On PS4 it didn't quite outsell Uncharted 4 in the US - about 50, 000 copies short. Japan totally makes up for that. With X1 sales, it has topped 800, 000 so I imagine with European numbers this should just crack 3 million. Here's to hoping! Message | Report |

Not early 2016 after all. But an event will be held in March and they will announce the release date. They just revealed how casting magic spells affect the environment.
