At the end of the day, sales mean nothing in determining quality, and so they can only be explained using rationality. The EU gamers in general do not know their games very well, even UK which is thought to be FAR more hardcore than the rest of EU, still buys a lot of trash. The PS3 is gaining ground there, people are eating up the brand name despite at this moment the PS3 is yet to show why it is truely ahead of the 360. In fact the 360 is nonexistant there save for UK, where MOST EU sales are but also where 360 sales beat out PS3 in both software and hardware at times. 'Football' as they call it is popular in NA, its going to sell copies of Madden, but in general, casual games sell just as much in EU, whereas hardcore games sell FAR FAR FAR more in NA. I know that they don't mean "sell-through" numbers but the difference between 1 million and 2 million seems pretty big. Either these numbers are higher or Capcom is lying. Either way, I love the game. The main complain that I found in the reviews (which ended up being valid after playing) was that halfway through the game you switch characters and you're forced to go through the same environments and same bosses all over again just in reverse. I was hoping that you could play through the game with all new environments and areas for one character and then play through the same ones again with a new character in a new playthru (much like DMC3 collectors edition) but the repetition is unavoidable. I would still suggest this to anyone who hasn't picked this game up yet. Message \| Report

In fact the 360 is nonexistant there save for UK, where MOST EU sales are but also where 360 sales beat out PS3 in both software and hardware at times. 'Football' as they call it is popular in NA, its going to sell copies of Madden, but in general, casual games sell just as much in EU, whereas hardcore games sell FAR FAR FAR more in NA. I know that they don't mean "sell-through" numbers but the difference between 1 million and 2 million seems pretty big. Either these numbers are higher or Capcom is lying. Either way, I love the game. The main complain that I found in the reviews (which ended up being valid after playing) was that halfway through the game you switch characters and you're forced to go through the same environments and same bosses all over again just in reverse. I was hoping that you could play through the game with all new environments and areas for one character and then play through the same ones again with a new character in a new playthru (much like DMC3 collectors edition) but the repetition is unavoidable. I would still suggest this to anyone who hasn't picked this game up yet. Message \| Report
