@kuddles, i totally agree, i think this is one of the few games that did better on the pc thans console, i got the Pc version and there are always loads of players on line. Message | Report |

The only thing I can think of to explain lower sales in "Others" (other then it just not selling, which is also possible) is the fact that PC game sales are still doing really well in parts of Europe compared to America, so maybe a higher percentage of people bought the PC version there. Man this game's fun. This is one instance where the console version's got better replayability than the PC version, believe it or not. The biggest reason I continue playing is because it's one game where it's actually FUN to earn the achievements. SO great. =) Message | Report |

I didn't forget about canada and mexico. If you want to believe a zombie shooter sold at the 10% rate there then that's cool but it still makes the grand total about 440-460k overall. Which is still very close to 424k. Considering how much overtracked some games are, this is a breath of fresh air to be so close. Stickball, you know better than most that just because the hardware is usually 9-10% of the US's doesn't mean the software always is. If we ever see NPD for canada for November I bet Left 4 Dead won't even be in the top 10. Sadly, it's sold pretty poorly everywhere outside of America. Message | Report |

Actually, the steam comments are baseless. Because X360 games can not be distributed through steam. This site does not track PC games, which is a shame. But it is also a good thing because they would only be tracking retail and leave out digital distribution (Steam / Direct2Drive, etc.), which would show an incomplete picture. Because the only distribution for X360 games is still Retail (for Full games), the X360 charts do show the full picture. Message | Report |

folks. 1-2 million sales LTD for the 360 version alone was a popular prediction. We all know due to Steam that the PC version will sell way more. The Orange Box had a far worse debut last year, so L4D is doing pretty good. Message | Report |

Considering the port that was delivered of The Orange Box to the PS3(crappy) and there no updates for Xbox360 owners(uh wtf) I don't think we are missing out on much. I know they are a mainly PC company but why don't they give the new maps and stuff to console owners too. Message | Report |

Some people don't get it or expected way too much. 1. It's a new IP 2. It's made by Valve (famous PC developer = more PC version owners) 3. FPS + Steam = more PC version sales 4. Compare these sales with The Orange Box (360) Message | Report |

You want to know the sad thing? When I was playing the demo on "the subway" level, on expert mind you, I couldn't beat the level with all human players. But 2 of the guys dropped out after failing it 5 times, so me and the other only human player failed the level again another time. After that though, we got through the entire level. So I guess the computer players ain't all that bad, and less players make strategizing easier, and communication better. Message | Report |

This game looks unreal! I can't wait for this to hit the streets and my 360 drive! I love zombie movies and this one looks about as close as you can get to surviving in that scenario. And from the looks of it those zombies are some bad mutha's. See how they run? AWESOME! Message | Report |
