Sales are slowly falling. Now it won't break a million until July. And sales of this game are fine. Off-road racers are generally niche. This will soon pass up the 360 version of DiRT, making it the best selling off-road racer this gen after the original MotorStorm. Message | Report |

If sales continue at this pace, it should break a million by May. By that point it will have passed up the 360 version of Dirt, making it the second best-selling offroad racer this gen, behind only its predecessor. It's doing rather well, all things considered. The first just had special circumstances that allowed it to reach abnormally high sales. It was the second decent game on the system, it was the first game to truly show off the ps3's graphics, and it enjoyed extensive bundling. The offroad racing genre in general is rather niche. this is a great game indeed, it has superb grafix and is fun to play, it will carry on over 1 million very soon, and i predict it will reach over 1.5million without bundles which is very good. total lifetime taking bundles and platinum sales it should be about 3 million. its a great game with good features, i love the screen grab feature Message | Report |

I swear this game wasn't hyped at ALL before launch (especially compared to LBP, etc.), and outside of those stupid commercials, probably nobody outside of hardcore guys like us even knew it was coming out. The Others sales of 40k are only one day, but still, this game is not doing well and will need some major legs. I think you can chalk this up to a poor release date. This would have been served to be released in Post-Holiday or even the Spring of 2009. Message | Report |
