StreaK ur comparing why switch games like zelda and mario sold 10+ million? because nintendo games nearly has zero compettion from 3rd party games e.g. cod rdr2 etc and switch owners buy a switch to play nintendo games and nearly half of nintendo games sales came from japan Message | Report |

@StreaK you've mentioned discounts a couple times and I'm not seeing heavy discounts? The game's still selling £35~ on Amazon/ShopTo and still full price in Argos, Game, Curry's etc. If anything considering it's a single player game on a console with so many games available for consumers to choose from it's holding its price remarkably well. It's clearly sold significantly more than Vgchartz's estimates and is still selling well considering as of now the game is £35 minimum to buy new. Message | Report |

CGI-Quality: I appreciate the clarification. It was just confusing, for a game to have debuted with such strong sales (over 3 million in a few days) to have just now broken 6 million sales. I always figured something looked off. Lekzie: Lmao, no I'm not high. But I'm just comparing to Switch games that have been out for 2 years that are still full price and selling. I can only think that GOW just sold through a shit ton so incredibly fast that sales have dropped off rather quickly. In any case, I'd really love to know what the total sales are as of right now. In the end, no matter how you look at it, discounts are discounts. Don't discounts usually occur when a game drops off in sales? Message | Report |

@StreaK wtf r u on high or something? lol, sony already break even on its 1st 3 days of sales alone and already made alot of profit after a month of sale alone, this an offline game with no server to maintain, so it doesnt matter if the game is half the price now or lower, sony is earning money by every copy sold and this game made to sold console first. For all the praise GOW is receiving it isn't getting the attention it deserves. Why are the sales already dropping? People don't want to drop their hard-earned money for THIS game??? Shame...it can only mean that it has the equivalent of these sales in digital form then and PS4 digital sales are going up. It's gotta be because for an amazing game like this to not even have 6 million yet is quite shocking to me, especially with all the praise and awards it's getting. It's tracking WAY above RDR2 for total game awards won. It WILL be the official GAME of 2018! Message | Report |

BOTW first 10 wks = 2.6 million GOW first 10 wks = 4.3 million So far BOTW has over 60 weeks of sales on GOW. I'm really curious who comes out on top when the sales settle down for both. @DialgaYeah, no doubt! Hmm...they gotta get on and start tracking the digital sales. The digital era is kinda screwing things up and it gets all scattered and confusing. Back in the day, we just had pure ACTUAL retail numbers and that's it. Now it's just so difficult to actually understand just how well a game is doing. But man, GO GOW...back in the top 10. @StreaK I would guess a high digital percentage, yeah. Kindof like how HZD was only at around 4.5 million on VGC when GG announced 7.6 million total. I can honestly see 70 - 75% digital attach rate being accurate. Really makes me curious how well games like Uncharted 4 has actually done. Message | Report |

Rumor mill has it that it’s sold over 9 million already, based on platinum percentage compared to hard platinum numbers. If true, that’s insane, seeing as the game hasn’t even seen its first holiday season yet. I can see it breaking 12 million by its one year anniversary, followed by 15 million LT. I don't understand the hatred for the map...I didn't have any problems with using the map. I do agree that the "fast travel" isn't good. I like the lore that gets told between the portals, but when there is no talking and you realize running around does nothing. It's annoying more than helpful or useful. Message | Report |
