I found this game so much more refined and on the Playstation 3. The virtue of refinements doesn't excuse 2K for the one year delay though. One of the hardest game's to Platinum though... Message | Report |

It's a reference title. Of course it has legs. Someone Buys a PS3, they gotta have this in their library. It has something as 5% atach rate for each console sold, selling 3-4 k per week. Should reach 500k by the end of the year. Hope the sequel gets deserving sales. Message | Report |

@BladeOfGod It's a year old port that was full priced and came at a time where the PS3 had plenty of games, unlike Oblivion which came at a time where the PS3 was still starting up. I'm pretty sure 2 will sell much better, possibly 1+ milllion. Message | Report |

Picked this up new for 30$ at walmart great deal. I think they would have sold more if they started lower at 40-50$ even though it new to PS3 in the gaming world its a year old. Same with C&C Red Alert 3 I will pick it up at the same price area like the pc/xbox versions. Message | Report |

Marketing - I don't think 2K gave it any marketing whatsoever. They seem to assume Bioschock is now at Halo status and doesn't need marketing to sell. Joe Consumer has no clue what this is and has no memory of the commercials of well over a year ago. Message | Report |

there is only one reason to be interested in the PS3 version and thats the DLC for the challenge rooms. I wish they would release it for the X360. Overall awesome game, but the graphics are a little cleaner and have less hiccups on the X360 version. Looking at the disappointing sales for the PS3, I get a feeling the publisher has to be disappointed and in hindsight should have forgot about a 14 month old port and could have used those resources on other projects. @Mexitalrish:But you have to understand that the hype gets slowly frozen not only for PS3's version delay,the "AAA" FPS launched at the same time (Resistance 2,Call of Duty WW...)one of the main problems is some kind of revenge,many people I know don't buy the game because 2k released it a year later,taking that like a disrespect for PS3 owners. for anyone that actually thinks that these sales are good for a year old port, i wonder about you all. i am incredibly disappointed with the sales of this game. the ps3 just keeps surprising me in terms or awful sales. i mean, it's been 2 years already and i thought that the ps3 would truly catch up with the 360. even ut III on the 360 sold better than this despite not really being that popular of a game even when it was first released last year and coming out 6 months late. i think that the bioshock on 360 has actually sold more the past few weeks since this one came out. thats just sad. insanely great game though.
