I own this game in mint condition but never played it lool. Im from germany and this never made it to europe. Americans go check Terranigma thats our ChronoTrigger. Terranigma is my fav RPG on the snes and in general. Message | Report |

Having a "mute" hero, like a talking hero, has its pros and cons. It never really even ocurred to me that he was mute when I played. I guess I never thought "What does Chrono have to say about this?" and instead just drew my own conculsions using my imagination, Message | Report |

@ skiptomylou41k. Well if like me you were unable to play the original (because it wasn't released where I'm from first time) then the DS game is your only choice next to emulation. Old as it may be it's still a brilliant game and the extra additions and side quests to the DS game are worth it if you ask me and definitely add to the replay value. Then there's the fact that the latest version is portable so you can bring it with you wherever you want and on top of that it's not even expensive. Message | Report |

I still get chills when I play this game and the music comes on. Yasunori Mitsuda was a melodic genius, and SE needs to lay off the guys at www.chronocompendium.com for Crimson Echoes. That game was going to be incredible, and they destroyed it not even a month before its release date... Same thing happened with Resurrection... Message | Report |

This game is a true masterpiece. When I first played it I had little experience of RPGs and thought it was wonderful. Since then I have completed far more RPGs and this one remains nothing short of exceptional. The best part about this game in my opinion is that it lacks many of the most annoying characteristics of JRPGs. For example, you don't have to worry about random encounters, which is great in the dungeons but is especially good on the map as it allows the game to focus around the story rather than constantly fighting. Chrono Trigger on WiiVC, anyone? God I hope soon. We all know the issues.... PS version is cool and all, but load times suck. I want the original feel back on a new machine. Mine disappeared years ago (somebody borrowed and stole it?) and have had to resort to PS1 version, or 'other' options. Message | Report |

Greatest silent protaganist since Link. Awesome RPG elements that were ahead of it's time, branching story possibilities, multiple endings, and an impressive look at changing the past to alter the present and change the future's demise.
