I did my part and bought the game. It is fantastic and anybody who has a PS3 should own this game, Heavy Rain, Uncharted, God of War, Killzone, and ACIT. I only say that you should because they are some of the best games created this generation in my opinion. Message | Report |

@ DivinityFire: List of cuts: http://www.vgchartz.com/forum/post.php?post=3239694&page=1&postnum=4 Brief Summary what happened: Back late 2009, they said to kotaku that there won't be any cuts then just 2 weeks before the release date they told IGN about the cuts (note that unless IGN asked Sega they probably won't have said anything about the cuts). Then they announced they cut out out only the quiz and hostess bars but we can still date the hostesses (but later in truth we can't date all of them since 1 of them is cut out) because these wouldn't resonate with western audiences (somewhat offensive isn't it?) and that we still get 99% of the game and it was just a little triva. Then kotaku probed Sega again and then they said it was due to time limitations (to be released on same week as FF13). But as you would have guess more was cut than what they originally announced thus Sega lied and up till now haven't provided another explanation despite all the fan rage lol. I dont agree with you scottsdone...final fantasy is not that good...Team Box agree with me....gave F.F.13 the socre of 5 of 10. So Square DONT did a great RPG...i Great Technical attivement, Strog but so-so in story, caracters(E of Eternity its a lot better) and deepest...the game is too linear. Yakuza 3 its a unique game! theres nothing similar...only the past shenmue. Its a miracle of detal! i really dont know you guys....yakuza 3 its not only a adventure game...its a RPG...so have a lot of random battles...and are done very good. With a system that grow...and you can use a lot of things...and the finishing moves are fantástic. I not agree with you that said its terible...by no means. Vel, just stop posting. If this game flops again, the only people to blame is Sega. They released it on-top of one of the largest game releases of the past couple of years, plus God of War 3 is right around the corner. They also lied to all of us about how much content they cut. There's more than 5x content removed from the game than they said they removed. They also gave us a completely bogus reason to why they did this. FFXIII is an amazing game, I honestly don't know how you can say it's not well-made. It was also in development a lot longer than Yakuza 3 has. Message | Report |

I'm still buying despite the cuts. Yeah it's disappointing, but I probably wont even play the cut content much anyway. It's sad that Sega is trying to sabotage the overseas releases of the game. @ every1 who thinks its going to reach 500k anytime soon.. its not :( if my numbers are correct it should sell roughly like this week 8 - 3915 week 9 - 2912 week 10 - 2789 week 11 - 1734 week 12 - 1034 after that it sells less then 1 k a week and by week 20 its at less then 500 copies a week. (my numbers of course are not going to be exact and sega could advert the game some more or what not. I just made an algorythm (which isnt perfect) to figure out the sales) Message | Report |
